Replacing the Unreplaceable – One Functional Print at a Time.
We design and manufacture functional physical products, replacement parts, and custom solutions using practical digital design and additive manufacturing.
Design • Make • Improve
01 / About
Bill’s Print Forge is a bootstrapped, early-stage product-design and additive-manufacturing business based in Drayton Valley, Alberta.
We focus on useful things: a part that is no longer sold, a simple product that could work better, or a custom item that does not exist yet. Each project starts with the problem, then moves through design, testing, and physical production.
We are building carefully, one practical project at a time.
02 / What we make & do
Practical replacements for broken, worn, hard-to-find, or discontinued components.
Purpose-built items shaped around a specific use, fit, or problem.
Digital design, prototyping, testing, and refinement for functional physical products.
Small-batch production and one-off functional prints made with real-world use in mind.
03 / Early projects
Real examples of measuring, designing in Autodesk Fusion, prototyping, and producing functional parts.
An original handle was measured and modelled, then refined through multiple prototypes before the final functional print.
A fitted replacement developed from measurements, translated into a reinforced digital model, and produced as a physical part.
A discontinued-style component recreated as a practical replacement, with the original retained for fit comparison.
A long broken component measured and reconstructed as a two-part design, ready to replace the damaged original.
A custom thread profile developed in Fusion and tested through physical print iterations.
